Lopez Island Academy provides our curriculum through the accredited A Beka Academy Master Video Program, which includes teachers monitoring classes and helping students with bookwork. We support cooperation with the public school to provide additional academic and athletic opportunities. Funding for the academy comes from student tuition and from a variety of private donations.
Lopez Island Academy is a private non-profit organization (501-3C) formed to give the students on Lopez Island the option of an alternative style of education. We are supported by tax deductible donations, tuition, and volunteers.
