Surrounded by the sparkling waters of Puget Sound, Lopez Island is full of opportunities to immerse yourself in the natural wonders that the islands are known for. Visitors can picnic and explore one of the many day parks, or camp overnight at Spencer Spit State Park. In addition to the many hiking and beachcombing possibilities available on Lopez, there are many other types of recreation as well. Outdoor Adventures

We offer bike and kayak tours on Lopez Island.  We also have kayak, bike and SUP rentals available on the beach at Spencer Spit State Park. Rentals are available from our rental booth beginning in May through Labor Day weekend in September, weather conditions permitting (May and September are generally weekends-only). Read more...
