I am a printmaker, working primarily in monotypes. I maintain a printmaking studio in which I am lucky enough to have a giant press to pull my monoprints. I visited a tiny village in Tuscany a long time ago. It’s name struck me as very beautiful and thought it related to the colors around me here on Lopez in Center Valley. Hence the name of my studio: Umbertide.
