The San Juan Islands are a child’s potential paradise. So many things to do and see. We always enjoy a whale watch adventure, or a swim in the cold water. When I was young, and then when my kids were young, we spent many an afternoon lobbing rocks into the water and wriggling very cold toes in the cold water that is Puget Sound.
In addition to family time, there are some wonderful summer camps sprinkled throughout the islands.
